Getting to Tongue House
From M6 J40 take the A66 east then take the A592 exit to Ullswater at the next roundabout.  Follow the road until you reach the lake then turn right for Glenridding, 2 miles along there and turn right at Brackenrigg.  Travel up the hill to Bennethead, take the right turn signposted  Greystoke and Penruddock, drive past a barn and it is the first left along there.
