Getting to Old House Barn
From M6 J40 take the A66 towards Keswick and then the A591 Keswick to Carlisle towards Bothel.  At Bothel turn left onto the A595 towards Cockermouth and after approx 2 miles turn right onto the B5301 signposted Parsonby.  Go through Parsonby and take the left turn at Arkleby and then turn right.  Follow the road for approx 1.5 miles passing over the river and bridge.  Turn left into Oughterside village then turn right at the crossroads.  Turn left down Well Lane and Old House Barn is 100m down the lane.
