Getting to Little Orchard
From the M6 take the A66 towards Cockermouth and Keswick. Bypass Keswick and follow the A66 along the lakeside and then take the right turn onto the B5291. Following signs for Castle Inn, Dubwath and the brown tourist attraction signs for Lake District Wildlife Park. Cross over Ouse Bridge to the right and pass Armathwaite Hall. Continue on this road and turn right at the Castle Inn, travel for 200 yards and turn left onto North Row, signposted Bassenthwaite village. Little Orchard is the 5th House on the right hand side.
