Getting to Lowgill
From Penrith take the A66 towards Appleby. Go past the training camp at Warcop. Take the right hand turn for Flitholme. Go right through the hamlet as far as you can go and Lowgill is on the right hand side with electric gates.
From Junction 38 on the M6, take the A685 to Kirkby Stephen and Brough. At Brough join the A66 heading West. Continue along this road, passing the left hand turn for Gt Musgrave and Langrigg, at the top of the hill, take the left hand turn signposted Flitholme and then go right through the hamlet as far as you can go and Lowgill is on the right hand side with electric gates.
