Getting to Dockrayrigg House
Come off M6 at J41 and follow the B5305 passing through Seberham and Rosley. Cross over the main road, right then immediate left and follow the road right into Wigton town centre, turn right again and continue through the town. Keep going until you head out of the town, you will come to the main road (A596). Turn left and follow the road until you come to a sign saying Kirkbride (if you get to the station you have gone to far). Turn right and follow the road for around one mile. Go along this road, past the waterworks, and climb the hill. Dockrayrigg House is a sandstone house on the right with its house name on the entrance.
