Getting to The Old Vicarage
From Penrith take the A6 northwards towards Carlisle.  Shortly before High Hesket is a short stretch of dual carriageway  with a right turning to Armathwaite.  Take this turning and follow the road into Armathwaite.  Take the right fork in the centre of the village and follow the road into Ainstable.  Turn left at the crossroads and continue along the road and turn left for Ainstable Church Institute.  The entrance for The Old Vicarage is at the top of the hill before you go around the corner for the Church.
